Mikuru's close encounter part II

For those few people that wondered what ever happened to Mikuru after her close encounter, here you go.

A continuation from last year's Halloween post.

Soooo, I totally wanted to make this post for Halloween but here we are almost a month later.

Actually would have done this sooner but really wanted the original Giger Aliern revoltech, wanted that facehugger a lot. However, for some reason the price on that revoltech shot up really high, going for as much as $120+ USD, a price that is too much for a single revoltech in my opinion. I wonder why, wonder if it was because Prometheus got released or something. Nevertheless I was able to acquire it second hand from AmiAmi for pretty much retail price, sure makes me happy I lost all those auctions.

I totally did not document the lighting set up I used for the first part I did last year, so I had some mishaps trying to recreate something similar I was happy with. That's why this time I documented right away so I wouldn't forget.  You can go take a look to see my rather unique set up for it.

Also, I broke Kyon's camera holding hand, that makes me very sad.

Well then until next time.

Ika Musume Figma - Won't you get lost?

Hey all! Today we take a journey along Ika Musume and her ever-present goal of world domination... or something.

I suppose I should talk about Ika Musume and just how nice and clean her figma came out but...

...I broke my Haruhi and it kinda made me sad for a while haha. You can see the patched up wound in this picture. I wonder if the Power Rangers aired outside the US, maybe not everyone will get this one.

That's a lot of ~de geso. Ika has really nice and expressive faces.

Her character lends herself to be put into plenty of amusing situations.

But she's probably best when playing off of someone else.

Incidentally, Mayoi tends to appear when people get lost. The more you know~

Mayoi, another really expressive figma. Very unrestricted because of her short skirt and picked up hair. Ika's skirt is made of soft rubber so there's less restriction even if it's long.

Loli fight! Loli Fight!

Behold my amazing balancing skills! She's actually harder to balance by herself than when she was carrying Mayoi... The ankle bracelet things restrict the movement a bit so you have less space to work with when balancing.

Ika Musume is very good at making friends.

And so Ika Musume forgot she was invading... again.

Iron Man Vs Danbo - The Revenge of Tony Stark

This time I'm trying to give more of a backstory (Not that anyone cares) as to why Iron Man is so hellbent on eating ice cream bars. It's a little shorter and nonsensical this time. But first a little recap of our story so far.

Robo Yotsuba was created by Tony Stark to counter Yotsuba's faction fast advances!

Experiments went horribly wrong!

Tony Stark kidnaps god!

Danbo is in some deep schist! None of this actually happened in the last story by the way... So don't look!

Back to our main story... In the past! This is all over the place...

I was going for a Phoenix Wright kind of point at you thing here.

Have you guys played the new Zelda? This gesture is in it, I found it really amusing.

Back to the present and.. To be continued...

Next comic a conclusion. I promise. And dammit why does Yotsuba keep saying Dambo instead of Danbo!? Keep to the script kid!

Mikuru's close encounter!

Who is up for some vaguely Halloween themed post? Aliens are totally scary and Halloweenish right? Did I ever mention I'm a big Aliens fan? Specifically the second movie.

They are coming out of the walls! They are coming out of the god damned walls!

Yeah... been wanting one of these since last Novemeber. Back then  I ended up choosing the Futari wa Precure girls over this guy here.

Good thing for me Revoltechs get re-releases every now and then.

I feel fulfilled now, been wanting to do this little idea for months now.

I will leave you with this gif of some test photos I took.

Happy Halloween and so forth!

Eh?! Seriously? I've been blogging for two years now?

Guess what happened this past week?

Last week was the second anniversary of the blog, which actually surprises me. I remember my first anniversary as if it happened last week or something.

Much like last year no fancy anniversary post or anything, since I kinda end up forgetting to plan something or other.

What can I say, this year was more eventful than last I suppose, with the domain change and the addition of a new author.

Just as last year, I greatly appreciate everyone that takes the time to read our silly stuff and look at our silly pictures. Above all, I greatly appreciate the nice group of regular visitors that leave comments.

Alrighty then, cheers for another year!
