I'll catch your heart

This kinda stuff is too much work =_=... This post is on the image heavy side.

I'm sorry, I totally stole this one from you, it's fine since we are like buddies and stuff right? ... Right?

It was just so cool and Aya like that I ended liking too much.

Fastest yes, honest? Well that's questionable as always.

In case you forgot she is CNN9's field correspondent.

So, who wants to bet on the answer?

Robots or little girls of mass destruction?

Also, typo... sigh.

Hey, that description sounds familiar!

If you are a Touhou fan anyways.

Totally meaningless cameo...

Rumble?

So nostalgic, that totally dominated my childhood for a while. Among other things anyways, yay for the 90s!

While doing my silly crappy effects I came across this video compilation.

So awesome!

Saving people is not her job apparently. Who will save the city then?

Once again wanna guess? Another robot or little girls of mass destruction?

A challenger has appeared? Who could it be?

Dropped kicked with high heels... that must suck.

They did call out your attention, that's like a warning and stuff right? Besides who gives warnings when they attack someone?

Nana Mizuki voices her, she also voices a certain other magical girl by the way.

She is my favorite Precure ever.

Flowers are a big motif throughout Heartcatch Precure.

Let me talk about these two figures a bit. They are from Bandai's S.H.Figuarts line, I like them quite accurate to the show.

However, Bandai thought it would be a good idea to make their hair solid PVC. Because of that they are very top heavy and impossible to balance without using a stand. As you might or might not know, usually I either don't use them or hide them with different angles and other tricks.

In this case, that was impossible for me, not apparent at least with my limited time.

I really like Cure Marine, she so cute and spunky.

I somehow managed to miss that until it was pointed out to me. I wonder how I was like 20 something episodes in.

Hoh?

I bet getting kicked in the gut with high heels must also suck.

Yes, the Heartcatch girls totally gang up to beat up their enemies. Perfect example is the awesomeness that was the last battle with the big bad villain.

Nice dodge!

Too bad it was the only one.

Smart people? Why needlessly endanger yourself? Finish off your enemies quick.

That's why gloating villains never win, they always wait for the good guys to get up again.

Exactly!

Only good guys get a free turn. That's why they can transform, combine, call out their attacks and so on without getting attacked midway.

Sorry, this time your the bad guy Mighty Morphing Megazord. Hmm.. did that title also apply to the Megazord or only the rangers?

Crappy special effects start now, be warned.

Also some robot mutilation.

A similar thing happened in the show proper... no dismemberment there though.

By the way that's not blood, it's like Megazord oil or something.

Yes, Precure occasionally attack you with your own weapons and/or body parts.

Again, that's not blood.

Yes, once they beat you down and maim you Precure will typically use their finishing move on you.

Again, crappy special effects incoming.

Finishing move sequence part 1.

Part 2.

I really like this finishing move, it's pretty cool.

Part 3.

It gets even better with the third Heartcatch Precure.

Part 4.

That's supposed to be a fortissimo sign as in music and stuff I think.

Part 5.

They cover themselves in flower power(?) and shoot themselves at their enemy.

Part 6.

Usually their enemies end up watching helplessly as the Fortissimo approaches them.

Part 7.

Followed by promptly getting pierced by the Fortissimo.

Part 8.

The enemies heart is then captured by the Precure, thus the show name: Heartcatch Precure.

Part 9.

Yes, at the end the enemy blows up.

Hmm... now that I did a play by play of the Fortissimo, I can't help but find it a little messed up. Get's even better with the Shining Fortissimo and the Heartcatch Orchestra, the next two tiers of finishing moves.

Now then I will leave you off with the first Heartcatch ending.

This is my favorite Precure ending watched it every time, which means I watched it like 30 or so times by the time the second ending was used.

By the way Heartcatch is my favorite Precure show so far.
